Dear Parents and Carers,

I’m excited to announce that we will be holding a holiday book exchange. As you know reading is so important and we are always looking at new ways to promote a love of reading for our children.

Please can your child bring in a book (wrapped in some kind of paper) to exchange with another child?

If you need some ideas of where to find a book, check out the following:

• Local bookstore or department store
• Charity shops
• Relatives
• Scholastic book clubs

We of course welcome books your child no longer wants to read or has grown out of, but please ask that it is only ‘gently’ used as this will be a ‘brand new’ book to another child! (It would be helpful to also write the age group the book is suitable for on the paper)

Please bring the wrapped book into school by Monday 15^th July. If you have any questions or need help bringing in a book just let me know.
