Operation Encompass Key Adult Leads at Huncoat Primary School are: Mrs R Dickinson and Mrs L Alldritt (as the back up key adult)
What is Operation Encompass?
Operation Encompass safeguards and supports children here at Huncoat who have been involved in domestic abuse. Following an incident at home, children often come into school distressed/ upset and unprepared for the day ahead.
Lancashire County Council Police and Huncoat Primary School key adults: Mrs Dickinson and Mrs Alldritt, will be working together to ensure we know about any incident so we can give the children the right amount of support, safeguarding and love and care they need at that present time and in the future.
How does it work?
Through Operation Encompass, any incidents are now sent straight to the key adults before 8.30am each morning, from LCC police, so that the right amount of support can be put in early for the child.
This is about Huncoat Primary School working together with our families to look after, care for and safeguard our children and give families the support they need.
